Surface Finishing

Deburring; polishing; engraving; laser marking; painting; surface texturing; flame polishing for selected plastics.

Heat Treatment / Related Processing

Stress relieving / annealing for selected engineering plastics such as POM, nylon, PEEK, PC, and other materials when dimensional stability is required.

Common Purpose

Burr removal; cleaner edges; improved appearance; dimensional stability; part identification; smoother functional surfaces.

Notes

Heat-related processing for plastics is limited and strongly depends on plastic type, part size, moisture absorption, and dimensional stability requirements. Final processing should follow material supplier recommendations when required.
